Je suis un photographe passionné…depuis plusieurs années maintenant.
J’ai pris ma première photo avec un appareil argentique très ancien, trouvé dans la grange de mon grand-père quand j’avais 10 ans. Je me souviens que c’était un film en noir et blanc et que j’ai été complètement fasciné par les vieilles photos de famille en noir et blanc.
Depuis, la passion pour le noir et blanc ne m’a pas quitté ; elle a même progressé au cours des 6 dernières années. Je travaille aussi avec la couleur de temps en temps, mais la plupart de mes photos couleur ont un nombre de tons limités à l’essentiel.
J’ai eu une dizaine d’années de ma vie complètement vides de photos et je le regrette.
Les choses ont changé depuis. Avec mon appareil photo, je veux laisser un signe pour les gens que j’aime. J’essaie de transmettre ma perception du monde extérieur, filtré avec mon jugement et à mon goût. Cela est la plupart du temps une vision en noir et blanc.

Quand je prends en main un appareil photo, j’ai toujours le sentiment mélangé de peur pour obtenir une photo horrible et l’excitation de regarder les résultats. J’espère avoir été en mesure de faire les bons
choix entre mes milliers de photos…et que vous apprécierez.

I am a passionate photographer since several years now. I took my first
photo with a very old film camera found in the grandfather’s grange, when I was
10 years old. I remember it was a black and white film and that I was
completely fascinated by old family photos. Since then, the passion for black
and white photos did not leave me; it even grew in the last 5 years. I also
work with colors times to times, but on most of my shoots, the number of tones
is quite limited to the essential.
I had a decade of my life completely empty of photos and I regret it.
Things have changed since. With my
camera I want to leave a sign of me to people I love. I try to transmit my perception
of the outside world, filtered with my judgment and with my taste. This is most
of the time a black and white vision. It is enough…
When I take on hands a camera I have always the mixed feeling of fear
for getting a horrible shot and the excitation of looking at the results. I
hope I have been able to make the good choices between the thousands of photos
I took and that you will enjoy.
My Gear
I work with two digital reflex cameras and three lenses that allow me to
take shoots in almost all conditions of light. In the wish list… a Leica for my
street photography. My reflex cameras are sometimes too big and it is hard to
take shoots in “stealth mode”.
